Zoo Trip

Couple weeks ago we went to the zoo. Just the family and the boyfriend attened. Im really glad that things are starting to get some what back to normal. I miss the old time and the wish there was more coming are more around the Family. That day was alot of fun though.

At the Cin. Zoo we have just been given a baby Giraffe. She had no name when we wen, but alittle girl. Now they have named her Zuri. Zuri stands at 6'ft tall when born. She is not aloud out yet to get her to become more bonded with the mom. We get to keep this one at the zoo because It was a little girl. Everyone here is buzzing about the baby. Its the first one in 26 years. Abigails room is going to be a zoo theme with pink Giraffe. At the zoo I had to pick up me and abigail a little gift. I got her a little rattle that lil one and the other one was soft and all the lil kids was fighting over it. Im pretty sure ill lose that one when She gets a little bigger. That day was a whole bunch of fun beside the half hour wait to get to see her. However it was so worth it at the end.

So here is just a quick update on me, myself and I. Later Ill add alil stitch update. Even though that will just be a really quick one.

First up i would like to introduce you to the fierce, crazied and incrediably Newest member to the family, Elvis. Elvis is a one year old Bearded dragon. He loves to hang out on his wrong and eat powdered crickets. This is the lovely lizard that at one time fit in my hand now when sitting in my arm him and his tail take up about the same thing. This little guy has been the joy of my days latley. I love him dearly and im glad he is in my life. However this is his mom would you stop taking pictures of me you embarrasing me face. Even though he hasnt got the handle on cross stitching or sitting still while I cross stitch, we working on that. Might take a bit though.

Well even though elvis is my fifst lil man... He has another surprice that he isnt going to like to much right away. He'll be fine though. Baby??

However on December 15th I found out that I was pregnant through mixed emotions and alot of tears. Weve been on a bumpy rollarcoaster of life but now things have found there way of working out and I'm now getting to be alil excited about being a mom. Still extremly nerveous however. So on the 28th of March I had my first real ultra sound that would determine the sex and how far along I was. It was also a general check-up to make sure the baby is doing alright. First up good news number one is the baby checked out to be completly healthy. Good wieght, growth no adnormalities that they can see and the best news ever 5 fingers and 5 toes. :) The second great news is that its going to be a little girl. Abigail Lynn Francis is the name. My little Abbs. Im excited now and still very nervous but me and mom got to go shopping and I got to be alittle bad a buy some little baby things. We found her the sheep onzy and she had to have it no questions asked she is now a member of the baa-stitchers. (Okay that was corny) But still very sweet lil onzy. Then we found her alil halloween onzy that I had to get with little ghost feet. Then I found this awesum ringed toy and each one makes a different noise. I know amazing. The bee makes a crinkly bag noise, the bear rattles, The hippo squeeks, the lion does a lil kid laugh and the bottom ring sings the ABC song. Its absulutally amazing. Mom only took it away from me three times. I think she will love it. It is droolable too. Hopfully it will be a favorite. My mom always told me she buys the best gifts. So I quess it a mom thing if you know what I mean. I'm trying to behave and not buy things till the shower is over.

So the last think i have to say is....

Jake found his date at the Zoo. I think she mighty fine. They understand each other. Happy stitching, <3 Megz

Above is me and aj. We celebrated Vatlentines day early due to the fact i had to work Valentines day and it was going to be better day for his family. Lots of fun that day was. same old problems with his rents but I just dont think they want to like me nor give me the chance. So ive kinda given up on that old boat.
We had a stitch day and sheepies where there. Those are my three sheepies. Moms and miss debbies where being mean and didnt want to play.

FINISHED!!!! FINALLY!!!!

Val entines day gift from AJ. I love him. Such a cuties gift for me. Chocolate, flowers and a stuffed bear. What more coulld i ask for? well besidess stitch stuff. LOVE IT.

And finially the most awesum christmas gift my fender Stratocaster. Mommy and Daddy got me. It was amaaazing. love it to death.

So i havent had the time to upload pictures of what i have recently stitched and finished. The carebear was stitched for my boyfriend. It was are one year anversery since we have been dating and me and him have this big carebear joke so i made him a blue carebear on aida and but are year in his stomack. I believe he really liked it. Or atleast as much as a boy can. Its nice to have a boyfriend who thinks that what i do is amazing. Even when its just cross stitching. It makes me happy that he atleast takes the time to complement what i do. Big smiles

Then next is my first piece on linen next to my skelanimal penguin. I finsished it with some frilly purple string around it. I love my scardy cat.

Then there is my sheepie. And i love my sheepie. He is going next to my sheepie collection in my room.

First her to the left is my french stocking, which is going to be given to Madam Echegary(SP?) Shes been my french teacher for two years now, my mom helped me with getting this one done. Tis the season for stitching and she did this so i had somthing to give to her since shes such a great French teacher. Merci Mere.(Thanks mom)

Then there is my orni exchange wich will be sent out asap to my exchanger i hope they like it. I picked it in there intrests. I believe tis cute.

okay so, I havent been on here much. Been really buesy with work and with school.

Im not going to go into full detail with pictures. Im pretty sure you could look at my moms page and see all that youve missed. Im just going to explain and maybe blogg alil bout it all. And HOPFULLY post some pictures of my recient finishes.

October 31: Halloween, We went to Big bone. I still tricker treat so we walked around the park and got are candy from other amazing campers. It was cold as a witches kiss that night. However i had a lot of fun. It was great to be with the family. Even though i had to work that day. It was still a lot of fun and work wasnt too awful.

November 19: I finished a wonderful gift for AJ(the boyfriend) carebear wall hanger. i loved making it and i believe he loved it too. Its so great to have a boyfriend who thinks my hobbie is pretty awesum.

November 20: Me and Aj got to hang at my place. It doesnt happen as much as id like. His parents dont like me, (or atleast I dont think they do) So he came over and mom made us soup and i gave him his gift and he gave me mine. I love LOVE love what he gave me. Besides that we danced in the hillbilly garage wich was made up in chrismas lights so we could dance. It was a blast. Then to add onto all of that after we droped him off we went to are ladies stitch group. And sat there for a hour or so and caught up with the X's we missed and all of the gossip. Then we went to kohls for sale. I love cloths. By that time i was craven a mint Frap from starbucks so we went there and we randumly decided to go see NEW MOON. at 1215 at night. I had to work the next day soo i was poo'ed out. But i had a blast with my mom. The movie was disappointing but jacob sure wasnt YUMMY!

November 21: Me and AJs one year.

VA Beach

My vacation this year was to go to VA beach with my mom on her retreat. (since i didnt get to much of a vacation thanks to the appendix) The beach was gorgeous. VERY windy but my hairl likes wind. Kinda wind blown look most the time anyways. Never get tired of watching the waves crashdown and the dolphins jump up in the air. That was a whole lot of fun. however even though i had alot of fun on the beach im alot of a blue hill mountain kinda girl. There was no mountains, windy roads and bluegrass hills here. I missed home. There always going to be alil country girl in me so i dont think i plan on staying on a gorgeous beach for very long other than visits.

Then here is a small small SMALL piece of neptuns(SP) statue that was really really REALLY big. I love the octapus and there was alil one too. The big one though is whats shown here. Fun stuff.

The noble Philip lived a happy life. A life well know for yet he was dead on the beach when i arrived. Sad sad day. Mom wouldnt let me bring him home to give him a proper grave stone in the bluegrass state. he always loved the blue grass state but no one believed me. He was a great and noble crab. We miss him.

Okay yay me and miss Debby doing the stitchy thingy. Miss Debby is like my aunt to me. My moms best friend and since family is some complexed word to everyone i adopted her to be my aunt and she may like it or not i dont care!!!

So on the 3rd of july I lost my appendix in Ten.

Waited in the emergency room for about 5 or more hours. That was nooo fun
Now my summer is going to be well....
It ruined my plans
Cant ride no rides
So there goes Coney Island, Dolly wood, Kings Island and the fair.

All goes bye bye plus no swiming. FOR 2 MONTHS. UGH. School starts soon.... Imma cry.

Above is my first project on linen. It is on 28ct. PTP Linen color Monster Mash. Still in the process of being finished. Very proud of it.

Workbastet Polar Quaker bear. Done on 14ct light heather Blue aidia with old blue eyes hand dyed silks. First time working with HDF silks love them.

This is freebie chart, that i will making into a biscornue. It is a piece for me to learn how to make a biscornue. Stitched on 14 count colbalt blue aidia with Ecru DMC floss.
